Rapper Bow Wow retires at the ripe old age of 29

Rapper Lil' Bow Wow has announced his plans to retire at the ripe old age of 29, according to CNN.

Bow Wow, whose real name is Shad Moss, released his first album in 2000 when he was just 13 years old.

The thought of someone retiring at 29 is hilarious but it's even more hilarious that it's someone who wasn't really popular anymore.

"Bow Wow officially retires from rap, but he was irrelevant for so long it was a given that he was retired," one person tweeted Sunday.

Saturday Moss hinted at his retirement in an Instagram post. "My last album will be Executive Produced by my uncle Snoop and myself. Since he brought me in the game, its only right i involve him and end it with him," he captioned the photo.

In a different post, he wrote, "Retirement only means that it is time for a new adventure."

People on social media were quick to point out that he hasn't been on their radar for awhile.

Moss didn't let the haters rain on his parade, though. He took it all in stride, tweeting, "Its a blessing to have made millions and can retire before 30. I mean im extremely happy."
