The ZEEQ Smart Pillow uses some hefty technology to help people catch some solid ZZZs. With tech like wireless speakers and a snore alarm, these pillow people are trying to change the sleeping game.
I knew I was on to something so I began to figure out how I could make this pillow better.
Warrick Bell and Miguel Marrero co-invented the pillow and are funding it via Kickstarter. Bell was inspired by his own sleep habits. He listens to music when falling asleep while his wife prefers silence. So he took apart wireless headphones and shoved them inside of his pillow. When he realized his wife couldn't hear the music, he knew he discovered something special.
The team behind the smart pillow has been improving on the technology for three years.
Now, the pillow has tech like bluetooth speakers that don't disturb a bed partner and a snore alarm that gently vibrates to encourage the sleeper to roll over.
Bell and Marrero have surpassed their Kickstarter goal of $50,000 by 500 percent. They have more than three weeks left on their campaign.
