Hope Solo not bothered by 'Zika' crowd chants at Olympics

Hope Solo says Zika-related boos from Brazilian fans don't bother her.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated's Grant Wahl on Thursday, following Team USA's Wednesday win at the Rio Olympics, the U.S. goalkeeper was asked how she felt about fans booing her during the match and any time she touched the ball.

"I did know they were booing, but it doesn't affect me," Solo said. "I came here to do one thing, and that's to help our team win, our country win. And I'm very focused in doing that."

The chants come days after she posted a photo of herself on Instagram wearing a mosquito net.

Team USA is set to play against France next week at the 2016 Olympics.
