The corpse flower smells like vomit and hundreds lined up to get a good whiff

Amorphophallus titanum, commonly known as the corpse flower, is a rare plant, native only to western Sumatra.

It takes up to 10 years for the plant to mature enough for its first bloom. After that, it blooms every three or four years. 

Circa went to the U.S. Botanic Garden in Washington, D.C. to smell for ourselves.
