A Washington D.C. police officer has been arrested and charged with trying to assist ISIS.
Nicholas Young, a 12-year veteran of the force, allegedly attempted to buy gift cards for messaging apps to help ISIS operatives communicate overseas, NBC News reports. He actually bought them for undercover FBI agents.
The FBI has been reportedly investigating Young for years, and he has been fired from his position.
We'll update this as soon as we know more.
