Car bomb targets security forces in Libya, kills dozens

Dozens were killed and at least 20 were wounded Tuesday in a car bomb attack targeting security forces in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi, according to Reuters.

The bomb went off in a residential area, where security forces loyal to Libya's eastern government were battling an alliance of Islamists.

The Shura Council of Benghazi Revolutionaries, a military coalition comprised of jihadist militias, claimed responsibility for the attack.
