An FBI employee was arrested Monday and charged with trying to sell sensitive U.S. information to China.
Kun Shan "Joey" Chun, who worked in New York City, was accused of posing as a Chinese government agent, NBC New York reports.
He faces multiple charges of making false statements, but has not been charged with giving any sensitive information.
He reportedly told an undercover FBI agent in 2015 that he could get sensitive information, but wanted part of any of the payments his contact would receive.
We'll update this as soon as we know more.
