Pope Francis issued a call to action to young people around the world Saturday in Poland for World Youth Day, saying more time should be spent outside working to change the world instead of sitting on the couch.
Dear young people, this evening the Lord renews His invitation to take the lead in serving others.— Pope Francis (@Pontifex) July 29, 2016
"Today's world demands that you be a protagonist of history," said the pope. "The Lord wants to work one of the greatest miracles we can experience: he wants to turn your hands, my hands, our hands, into signs of reconciliation, of communion, of creation."
The Pope wraps up his five-day trip to Poland on Sunday with a final mass.
