Do not to mess with Kanye West (or his BFF Jay Z).
Mr. West took to Twitter Saturday to give Apple's CEO Tim Cook a piece of his mind regarding Apple Inc.'s deal with Jay Z to buy the rap mogul's music streaming service, Tidal. He says the ongoing deal is "[expletive] up the music game."
Last month, sources told The Wall Street Journal that Apple Inc. was in talks to acquire Tidal, which has struggled to gain momentum and subscribers since "jigga man" purchased the streaming platform from Norway's Aspiro Group for $56 million last year.
Until now, no one from Jay Z's rep confirmed those talks ever happened.
West, who released his latest album first on Tidal earlier this year, said to his nearly 25 million Twitter followers: "We'll all gon [sic] be dead in 100 years. Let the kids have the music."
