GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump was apparently so upset about the things speakers said about him in their speeches at the Democratic National Convention that he wanted to "hit" them "so hard."
Speaking at a rally in Davenport, Iowa on Thursday, Trump said he wanted to hit "one guy in particular, a very little guy."
"I was gonna hit this guy so hard, his head would spin, he wouldn't know what the hell happened," Trump said.
Some people on Twitter speculated that the "little guy" Trump was referring to is former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
Appearing to reference Bloomberg, Trump says he was going to hit "a little guy" so hard "his head would spin"— Michael Scotto (@mikescotto) July 28, 2016
"I'm a New Yorker, and I know a con when I see one," Bloomberg said in his speech.
"Little" Michael Bloomberg, who never had the guts to run for president, knows nothing about me. His last term as Mayor was a disaster!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 29, 2016
Trump seemed to confirm that he was referring to Bloomberg with this tweet on Friday.
Bloomberg is 5-foot-8, which in Trump's world is small, considering Trump once called 5-foot-10 Marco Rubio "little Marco."
