When YouTube star Anna Akana attempted to improvise celebrity impressions, some of the results were, as Donald Trump might say, "huge."
(That is, Akana said "huge" a few times at VidCon 2016 to channel The Donald. Her mimicry of him, Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus wasn't always spot-on, but it's still fun to watch.)
Akana fielded her impression suggestions from What's Trending co-founder Shira Lazar.
Her Shrek impression was... a bit off, and may have sounded "Russian," as Lazar suspected.
But Akana doesn't need A-list impressions to earn a following.
The actress-comedian's collective work has earned her 1.5 million YouTube followers and 121,000 Twitter followers.
Perhaps that's why Akana was up for turning the tables on Lazar toward the end of her impersonation challenge.
"I think we should switch," Akana said with a laugh. "I think it should be you doing impressions, and me reading this list."
