MSNBC's Tamron Hall clashes on-air with actor Scott Baio at RNC 2016

MSNBC anchor Tamron Hall called out actor Scott Baio on day two of the Republican National Convention Tuesday for his controversial tweets about Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama.

During the interview Hall asked the former "Happy Days" star about a meme he tweeted last week that shows Hillary Clinton blocking a sign that said "country," but, instead it read as "c*nt."

According to Baio, who tweeted the meme to Donald Trump, "this is the best meme out there."

in his interview with Hall, he explained he tweeted the meme to open it up for commentary.

Hall also asked about an unflattering photo of First Lady Michelle Obama that Baio tweeted in 2010. "WOW He wakes up to this every morning," Baio tweeted.

Baio said his tweet was "a joke" about "a woman yelling at her husband."

Hall also asked Baio what he meant when he said "Let's Make America America Again" during his speech at the RNC last night. "So of course, let's make America great again," he said, "but let's make America America again."

Twitter was quick to pick up on his version of Donald Trump's "Make America Great Again" slogan.
