ABC announces premiere dates for 'Dancing With the Stars,' 'Designated Survivor,' more

ABC is jumping into next season's television shows early.

On Tuesday, it announced a series of fall slated premiers with the latest installment of Dancing With the Stars kicking off its shows by premiering a week earlier than expected, on Monday, Sept. 12, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

According to Hollywood Reporter many of the network's new series, including Designated Survivor starring Kiefer Sutherland, the family comedy Speechless and the legal soap opera Notorious, will start during the week of Sept. 19, a day after ABC airs the 68th annual Emmy Awards with host Jimmy Kimmel.

Last but not least, the network will push back two premieres: the legal drama Conviction starring Hayley Atwell (from Agent Carter), will debut Monday, Oct. 3, at 10 p.m.; and the comedy American Housewife starring Katy Mixon will launch on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 8:30 p.m.

Fans are already counting down the days.
