Bernie Sanders says he plans to vote for presumptive Democratic Nominee Hillary Clinton in November's general election.
His comments came during an interview on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" in which he said he plans to do everything he can "to defeat Donald Trump."
While Sanders has not yet officially conceded the Democratic nomination, the Vermont Senator said Wednesday it did not appear that he would be the nominee.
If it wasn't obvious already, the Democratic primary race is all but over now.
Senator Sanders is already pivoting towards focusing feverishly on making sure that Republican nominee Donald Trump doesn't end up in the White House. He also wants to continue influencing the larger Democratic agenda in terms of fighting for his consistent narrative of economic equality, universal healthcare, free public education and immigration reform.
However the Senator has not officially ended his campaign and conceded to Hillary Clinton just yet. He's still holding out.
