'Good Morning America' called Kermit The Frog a lizard and he wasn't having it

Kermit the Frog called "Good Morning America" out after they called him a "#TeaLizard" in a tweet referring to his famous, "That's none of my business" meme.

Does GMA need an eye exam? Kermit is the most famous Muppet ever!

Kermit took to twitter and threw MAJOR shade at GMA without even mentioning the show's name...

Let's be clear. Kermit The Frog is an amphibian...OK he's really a Muppet but that's not the point. A lizard is a reptile. This should have all been learned in elementary school right? The internet wasn't too kind to GMA after the tweet either.

The GEICO Gecko even stood in solidarity with Kermit.

We wondered if GMA really knew their memes too...

Everyone just wanted GMA to R-E-S-P-E-K Kermit's name.

"Good Morning America" tried to explain but the damage was done.

Moral of the story? Know your memes before you tweet them.
