President Barack Obama and the first family spent Father's Day weekend enjoying the great outdoors.
Well, technically Obama was at Yosemite National Park on official business -- celebrating the 100-year anniversary of the National Park Service.
But hey, just because the first family was there on official business doesn't mean they didn't take advantage of the beautiful scenery.
Michelle Obama posted a family photo wishing the president a happy Father's Day.
"This has to be the perfect way to spend Father's Day, and Father's Day weekend," Obama said in his speech Saturday at Yosemite's Half Dome rock formation. "Just look at this scene. You can't capture this on an iPad or a flat screen, or even an oil painting. You cave to come in and breathe it in yourself."
After the speech, the first family went on a daylong hike through Yosemite, according to ABC News.
Throughout his presidency Obama has been an enthusiastic supporter of national parks. In previous visits to national parks, Obama has focused his attention on combating climate change.
