Chicago meets DC…arts, politics, wings and mild sauce.
Michael, along with his sister, began editing video at the age of 10 in his hometown, Chicago. They were gifted a black and white Tyco branded camera, which he used to script a sketch variety show. Using a very interesting combination of VCRs and imagination, Michael unknowingly started his career.
Michael attended Howard University's School of Communication and is a proud Bison. Upon graduation, he worked as a Creative Services Associate at Howard University Television, a PBS Affiliate (WHUT-TV). There he was majorly a department of one, managing, creating content, and editing media (video, graphics, web and social media) for promotional use.
Michael brings a number of skills to Circa including photography, painting, and sketch artistry. Michael approaches every video project with the same creativity required to finish a painting, understanding that the edit process is akin to a brush, affecting the composition on the canvas, or in this case the final story.
