MULTIMEDIA JOURNALIST, POLITICS
Kellan’s claim to fame is a brief appearance talking about pot on "Last Week Tonight" with John Oliver.
Multimedia Journalist Kellan Howell covers politics for Circa and spends a ton of time chasing lawmakers up and down the halls of the Capitol (this is why reporters in DC wear flats). She made a jump of exactly 10 miles when she started at Circa, coming from the Washington Times where she covered a plethora of topics for the paper and website.
She graduated from James Madison University. One major wasn’t enough, so she had two - international affairs and journalism. In college she helped create and served as executive editor of “22807” magazine, which is actually still being published today. While studying abroad in London she interned at ITPro, a business and technology website where she got to do more than just make tea (although she did a lot of that too).
Kellan’s claim to fame is a brief appearance talking about pot on "Last Week Tonight" with John Oliver. She admits this job is mainly just a way to fund her addiction to clothes, shoes, concerts and wine.
