WASHINGTON (ABC7) — The word "s***hole" and what appear to be poop emojis were reportedly projected onto the wall of the Trump International Hotel in D.C. Saturday night.
Images and video showing the projections of profanity on the hotel at 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW began showing up on the Twitter page of Robin Bell Saturday evening. Videos posted by Bell showed other phrases cast across the front of the building, such as "Need a place to stay? Try our s***hole" and "This place is a s***hole."
Bell describes himself on Twitter as an "award-winning editor, video journalist, and multimedia artist" who works in D.C. According to the Washington Post, Bell has projected other criticism of President Donald Trump on the hotel in the past and the paper describes him as a "projectionist provocateur."
The projections come as part of the continued criticism of Trump's alleged use of vulgar language when discussing immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and various African nations.
"Why are we having all these people from s***hole countries come here?” Trump allegedly said on Thursday.
